How to send money from Albania to bank accounts abroad

1-GO TO LOCATION

Go to the nearest Unionnet – Western Union location and tell the operator you wish to send money to a bank account. The operator will hand you the “Send – Direct to Bank” form, where you will fill in the name and surname of the recipient, the country where you will send the money to, as well as the recipient’s bank account details.


Fill in the form “Send – Direct to Bank”.

2-CHECK THE INFORMATION

Check if the information on the form “Send – Direct to Bank”, is correct and then sign the document.


Give the Unionnet – Western Union operator the completed form “Send – Direct to Bank”, the amount you want to send, the transfer commission and a valid identification document.

3-REGISTRATION IN THE SYSTEM

Your data will be registered in the system and the operator will once again check with you the transfer data, before completing the transfer.


The operator will register the data.

4-TAKE THE FORM AND THE NUMBER (MTCN)

After completing the money transfer in the system, the operator will hand you the “Send Money” form for you to sign. After you sign the form, the operator will give you back your identification document with a copy of the “Send Money” form where are specified the 10 digits of the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) and the sent amount.


5-VALIDITY OF THE MONEY IN RECEIVER’S ACCOUNT

The sender notifies the receiver of the money transfer and gives him/her the MTCN.

The money will be valid in the recipient’s account in a very short time, generally within the day, but this may vary depending on the country where the money is being transferred, as well as the banking procedures.
